Come to Perugia to immerse yourself in FantaCity Festival, the event dedicated to young people. Come to Perugia and partecipate in meetings and concerts, visit exhibitions, and make fun in showings, parkour and hip hop performances, spaces for writers, evening concerts, philosophical coffees, meetings, workshops, theatrical and reading activities, and much more.
FantaCity opens to Europe and the world and, from 8th to 11th April 2010, will invade again the Umbrian chief town, its streets and squares, gardens, cloisters, theatres, mansions and the spaces of the Rocca Paolina, the enchanting 15th century fortress in the old town center of Perugia.
After the great success of the previous editions, which have drawn thousands of people, the appointment with FantaCity will be even more colored and fanciful: a multi-thematic event rich in activities, ideas, experiments and guests from all over the world.
Literature, art, music, dance, philosophy, performing arts and theatre will be the main topics of the festival. Entertainment promoters and experts of different nationalities will organize games, workshops, exhibitions, performances, and showings.
Moreover, the partners’ network, which organizes the event and helps to finalize the program, widens and crosses the national boundaries. Publishers, Universities, training centers, institutions and associations, together with the Organizing Committee, are all working on developing a program for the event with the goal to make it a cultural and entertainment success for young people.
There will be many personalities, experts, actors,
writers, singers, dancers, jugglers, and funny persons.
Taking part to the FantaCity Festival is completely
free to all visitors and easily accessible to everyone.
